Floridon't Mess
33 x 10 x 4 inches (84 x 25 x 10 cm)
2024
Packaging from roughly 30 pounds of Disney product made it possible to build this AR-15. This was the weapon used in the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, located in Florida where state officers actively oppose both gun control and the Disney Company.
This sculpture includes the metal title plaque and wall display mounting hardware pictured here.
Please note: This is a fake gun. It is not real, and does not shoot anything. This is made from nothing but cardboard boxes that held Disney brand organic apples. This is a piece of sculpture and political parody.
