Sculpting kids’ drawings. Starting in late 2022, Mike accepts the challenge to faithfully capture the 2-dimensional subtleties of children in three dimensions. Many below are based on artwork by Mike’s 3 year old. Others are client commissions. Carved in clay or wood, each is about 4 to 6 inches, the drawings are roughly 4 x 6. Mike is accepting commissions for this project - see below.

First Mike needs to see your kid’s drawing for size and detail, which can be sent by messaging Mike or emailing leavittmichael@gmail.com. Mike also needs to know if you’re in the U.S., then he’ll give an estimate and ask for your payment. Prices start at $150 for a sculpt up to 4 inches tall. Generally the prices will be $200 for a sculpt up to 6 inches tall, and $250 for a sculpt up to 8 inches. For $300 and up, Mike can sculpt larger than 8 inches from drawings larger than 9 x 12. Mike will sculpt in polymer clay or wood. A wood display stand can be mounted with your child’s drawing. For quicker deadlines, a rush cost may be added. He’ll faithfully sculpt in the style and size of the original drawing. Mike can send pictures before shipping the finished piece as a courtesy, not for requesting revisions. The sculpture will be shipped immediately when it’s done being sculpted.
